Cloches - an Easy Way to Decorate for the Seasons

Are you familiar with cloches? Technically, they can function as mini greenhouses,  if you put real plants in them. But I would like to talk about cloches as a vehicle for artificial seasonal decor.

I have a glass cloche on my kitchen island, and it is one of the easiest ways to decorate for the seasons! Right now, after the holidays, it is an in-between time and using succulents is a perfect transitional plant.

It's really fun to decorate cloches for Easter too! Just save little odds and ends from Easter baskets and use decor, like Easter bunnies inside the cloches. There's something magical for kids to see what's inside the glass dome - almost like a snow globe at Christmas.

And finally, go into your fall decor box of leaves, gourdes and pumpkins and see what you can find for a pretty fall cloche. You can see in my fall cloche, I used one gourd, a basket of tiny pumpkins and some tall grass.
