Last summer, David and I had the best time having cocktails with our friends, Jeff and Kristin at their charming lake house. It is filled with family heirlooms and beautiful treasures, each with an interesting story. The minute I drank Kristin's Blueberry Rosemary Hard Lemonade, I knew I had to get the recipe. Having grown up on the lake, she is a veteran at entertaining and has contributed both of these recipes to our Seasons of the Lake repertoire. Thank you, Kristin!
2/3 c. Canada Dry Lemon Lime
1 Shot Deep Eddy Vodka, lemon or grapefruit
Pour the Canada Dry into a glass full of ice, leaving room for the shot. Pour the shot of flavored vodka and serve with a lemon or lime wedge. This super quick and refreshing drink is perfect for a hot lake day!
Stoli Blueberry Vodka (brand is very important)
Simply Lemonade
Simple syrup (no sugar added)
Crushed blueberries
1 Lemon
Lemon slices for garnish
Rosemary sprigs for garnish
Make a simple syrup with heated water and Truvia. Set to cool. Mix ¾ jug of Simply Lemonade to about half a bottle of the vodka. (This measures about 1 ½ shots to 6 ounces lemonade.) Crush blueberries in the bottom of a pretty see-through pitcher and squeeze in the juice of ½ to 1 lemon. Add ice, simple syrup,, crushed blueberries and lemon slices and stir. Enjoy!
