When our children were in grade school, the school nurse sent home this recipe to all the parents. She was trying to teach the kids how to eat healthy snacks at the time. Little did she know, this recipe would become a favorite in our family that we would enjoy for years to come. I love this because it's healthy, easy and quick to make and a beautiful presentation!
Ingredients
1 Angelfood cake, torn into pieces
6 Individual containers of low-fat vanilla pudding
2 pints of low-fat vanilla yogurt
3 quarts of strawberries, sliced
3 quarts of blueberries
Gluten-free granola cereal
Layer the ingredients in a footed trifle bowl, starting with the angle food cake and ending with the fruit on top!
Enjoy!
I make this dessert for my mom on Mother's Day a lot. She and everyone else in our family loves it!
